The Grass Valley Fire

So as most of you know my family lives in the San Bernardino Mountains where they are experiencing some terrible forest fires. My family has been evacuated and is staying with family. My parents are in Arkansas and are hoping to come home on Saturday to their house still standing. Hopefully we will be as lucky as we were during the last fire that was on the mountain a couple of years ago. It burned all the way up to our fence, but with the help of some loyal neighbors and a flight crew our house was saved. Thanks for all the calls to see how my family is doing. Please keep them and the rest of the mountain community in your prayers. As of right now the fire is 30% contained. We will keep you posted!

Katrina and Lizzie's Baby Shower information

Happy 1 year to us!!!

So our 1 year anniversary started off like any other anniversary would... We had to get our tire fixed due to the nut and bolt that was sticking out of it. We started our romantic day at Sam's Club enjoying the free samples and walking down each aisle adoring all of the wonderful treats they had to offer. We ended our trip by enjoying some of their yummy delectables (pizza, hot dogs, a warm pretzel, and of course a soothing strawberry banana smoothie for dessert. Then we headed home....

When we arrived home to my surprise my husband had delivered one dozen beautiful long stemmed pink roses . Aren't they amazing? Then we headed down the 91 freeway to our next destination Buena Park, California...









As we drove down the 91 we were greeted by millions of cars that were trying to get to Knott's Scary Farm to be frightened by dozens of scary goblins, and monsters, and werewolves OH MY! (that kind of traffic is not a good thing for a 33 week pregnant lady to be sitting in.. if you know what I mean) As we arrived to Medieval Times we stopped and took a picture with one of their most famous knight Sir Mix-a-lot. He was sure kind to let us pose with him.


Our journey continued as we waited for the King to call us into the arena for dining and tournament. We ate food fit for a king with our grubby greasy fingers.. It sure was messy. Our Knight won some and lost some.. Losing has the sting of death.




After the tournament Sir David of the Round Table wanted to demonstrate his skills to the other knights, but they would not take him up on his offer. Indeed Knight David showed Lady Katrina how a princess is treated hence... we have princess Lizzie on the way, and they all lived happily ever after!

We Made It To Woodcrest!!!

The trek was long and difficult, but with a lot of prayer and endurance we made it! We love it here, and we hope to see you all soon. Oma and Papa are excited we are here to play with them everyday.

Goodbye Downtown Riverside House

Well... time has come to say goodbye to our 1st house together, and move on to BIGGER and BETTER things. We sure loved living here, but it is time to expand our living quarters and welcome our new little one with a bigger living environment. We are off to Woodcrest!!!!

Season 4 of The Office is about to start...

The Office Season 4 is about to start in less than 4 days... What is going to happen with Jim and Pam? Will they finally get together? (Take our Office poll) Will Dwight and Angela's relationship finally come out in the open? Will Kelly stay under her desk all season moping about Ryan? Stay tuned Thursday nights @ 9 pm on NBC.

Our Mexican Cruise

David, Lizzie, and I had a great time on our three day Mexican Cruise with the Powers and Browns.

We ate A LOT of yummy food and didn't even get sea sick... (thank goodness) Whenever you book your next cruise you should invite us along we are a lot of fun!

It's a girl!!!

Here are some new shots of Lizzie Valet Parker. Isn't she so beautiful? Grammy is hoping that she will have David's dimples. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

16 weeks old!!!

Baby Fetus is doing great! It was doing flips in mommy's tummy while we were at the doctor's office. Fetus is very active and loves to play and suck it's thumb. We will keep you updated on what the sex of the baby will be. On July 16th we are going into the doctor's office again and see if fetus will be a little less modest and wiggly.
