Preview of Halloween...

This year the girls are going to be cows since I couldn't find OXEN costumes, and David and I are going to be Pioneers. I know what you are thinking.. Katrina you ALWAYS have the greatest ideas!!!( cat and a dog, burnt Trees (all the fires going on a couple years ago), different kinds of bugs) Well thank you! I just need to figure out how I can transform my double stroller into a cover wagon.. have any ideas?

My girls take 2!

I know everyone thinks their own kids are the cutest things in the world.. but I truly believe they are!!! I was trying to get dinner ready, and laid a blanket down on the ground for Krislynn to lay on while I worked on dinner. Lizzie loves Krislynn and laid right next to her. She loves her sister so much even though she bites, scratches, or even hits her. They have their moments of loveyness which I can't get enough of. After each picture Lizzie wanted me to show it to her so she could see her silly self.

Lizzie is just growing up so fast. I can't believe how fast each day passes, and she is getting closer to becoming a young women. I remember the first day I held her in my arms, and couldn't believe how David and I could create such a beautiful baby. Lizzie keeps me on my toes, and she is just so busy. I love when we have snuggle moments, and when she is so kind to her sister. She is so polite with her please and thank you's, and her smile just melts your heart. she has become so independent lately, and wants to do EVERYTHING by herself. Her vocabulary is growing rapidly and some of her favorite words are: mine, wahoo, B, two, shoes, baby,dada, momma, and the list could go on forever! She loves to dance and move her body, but chasing bubbles is her favorite.

Krislynn is a joy to have around. She is so calm and just loves to snuggle. She is awake a lot more now, and whenever you place her on her tummy she tries to scoot and crawl. She loves to smile and her dimples shine bright. She loves to sleep,eat, and poop! She is starting to laugh out loud, and loves tummy time.

Home.. Home on the Range...

Our trip started off great. We stayed at the Ray's and had some fun visitors while we were there. My friend Alex and her new baby Spencer came to visit us while we were at the Rays. Sister Ray made homemade waffles and eggs for us. We had a great time visiting and catching up.

Amanda joined the party in this picture... Right before Amanda got there Krislynn had an explosion and pooped all over my pants. So here we are waiting for my pants to dry and getting ready to leave for Cafe Rio and then Wyoming... so after we got on the road we were just out of Park City and Amanda got pulled over. The Officer came to my window and with a soft calm voice said "Hi, I'm Officer Anderson, do you know why I pulled you over?" Krislynn is screaming in the background, and the Officer gets all of Amanda's information. The Officer sits in his car for a while so Amanda thinks she is totally going to get a ticket, but he comes back and lets her off with a warning.. thanks to Krislynn! 6 long hours later we are in Wyoming!!!

Thursday we drive into Casper Wyoming and ate at this great place called Sanderson's. Let me just tell you if you are ever able to eat here do it!!! The decor on the outside and inside of the restaurant is an eye full to say the least. So here are a couple pictures from Sanderson's...

This is Martin's Cove where we trekked like the pioneers. I had such a great time learning about all the struggles and tribulations that the pioneers went through to make it to Zion. What amazing people they were to make this journey.

Then we drove over to Independence Rock. It is a huge rock in the middle of nowhere. We hiked the face of the rock, and looked for engraving on the rock from the pioneers.

Our lungs were burning so bad while we were hiking Independence Rock because it was so windy.

As the pioneers passed Independence Rock they carved their names onto the rock. Here are some of the engravings that we found while we were there.

Amanda, Krislynn, and I had such a great trip to Wyoming. Thanks John and Jean for the fabulous time we had. I'm so grateful for the pioneers and all they had to conquer so that Zion could be built.

Info on Kristi Pine

Thank you so much for all your prayers and concern. My sister Kristi Pine passed away yesterday on September 9th. I just wanted to let everyone know that our family is doing well, and continue to keep us in your prayers. Her funeral will on Friday the 18th @ 11 am .

Utah.... oh wait Wyoming!!!

Today is the day when Krislynn and I adventure to Utah for a quick stop then off the Wyoming we go... This will be the first time I'm away from David and Lizzie for longer than a couple days... and an airplane ride all by myself with the baby.. wish me luck!

*Krislynn and I are excited to see The Ray's, Alex and her new baby, Amanda Fenn, and John and Jean Fenn, and all the other people we might meet on the way.
