Thanksgiving with the Fenn Family

After our long trip back from Sedona, a speeding ticket, and hours of Lizzie being fuzzy. We were able to drive up the mountain and see Amanda. It had been a lot time since the last time we saw her, but we had a great time. Lizzie loved playing with all of John and Jean's toys, and exploring their new house. Thanks for the great night Fenn Family!
PS Thanks Carolyn for dinner it was SUPER YUMMY!

Party girl!!!

Momma Pig and her piglets

Here are just some of the pictures from the Piggy Party. My camera died so I had to use Shauna's camera, and I haven't gotten the pictures from her yet so these will have to do. Lizzie had a great party!!! A lot of family and friend came and enjoyed the pig out party. The kids especially loved the park to run around in while the adults enjoyed time talking with one another. Lizzie wasn't too fond of her cake, but she sure liked sticking her hands in the icing and rubbing it all over her body. We played Pin the Tail on the Pig, and the kids did a great job with their piggy tails and putting it where it should go, but Lizzie wanted to rip off all the tails and put them in her mouth. Thanks to everyone who came and partied with us!!! Lizzie loves all her gift especially the BIG WHEEL David got her. She rides it all over the house!!! It is her favorite!!!! I think David wishes he had a Big Wheel that is his size so they could ride together... I still can't believe my girl is 1!!! Wow time sure flies by when you are busy as Lizzie is... Now we are off to another Piggy Party with my family.... Piggy Party here we come.....

AOTW #4 OMA CAME TO TOWN!!!

Well we were planning on going up to Oak Glen and making cider.. but that AOTW will have to wait. Friday was just so hectic. I had to get ready for an Uppercase Living party, and I had to prep. for Craft Night. So instead we did AOTW a little different last week. Oma came to visit!!!!

We love it when Oma comes to play, but the best part was that we were having a SLEEPOVER!!! I don't know about you, but I LOVE my mother-in-law! She is the greatest woman on Earth besides my mom of course. I always knew that I wanted in laws that I would get along with... I have seen too MANY fights caused by people who despise their in laws. So as I was looking for a husband I checked out the parents as well, and let me just tell you I have the BEST.... I mean the GREATEST... FANTASTIC...MARVELOUS... FABULOUS...EXCELLENT.... in laws!!! If you know them you know what I'm talking about. Everyone from Timbuktu to outer space knows the Parkers. They just knock my socks off!!! Well going back to Marsha... She just has such a great spirit about her, and she is always willing to help no matter what! This lady can through together a casserole in no time with ONLY a couple ingredients WOW! She can garden like no body's business.. and she has the greenest thumb! She can make Lizzie laugh with just giving her a look! She is a sewing phenomenon! She is the best nurse a daughter-in-law could as for! She would stay up all night with Lizzie when I just needed a couple hours of sleep! If you didn't know Marsha is AMAZING!!!

Well to go back to AOTW.. Marsha came out to have a sleepover since David had a camp out with the scouts, and we could have a girls night. So we headed into Hemet in search of a place to tickle our fancy... and we ended up at SONIC. Lizzie loved the tater tots, and standing in the driver's seat while we ate. We had a great time with all the high school kids! Then we let luck take its toil and ended up at Wal-Mart. I have been wanting some curtains for my house and hoping for a good buy. We found some I really liked, but they were 10 inches TOO short, so Marsha wiped out a piece of paper and was figuring out how we could make the curtains work by adding a little here and a little there. SHE BOGGLES my mind with how she can just make something work even though it doesn't work just like you want it to. Well we left Wal-mart with no curtains, but we had a great time plus she even got a little Christmas shopping done with my help (I'm her lil elf) SHHH!!! Don't tell Santa!

Then we came home put Lizzie down for the night, and TALKED...and TALKED... and TALKED!!! we stayed up till 1 AM man we can talk forever!!!

Thanks OMA for the greatest OFTW!!! Sorry we have no pictures of the adventure, but we had a great time!!!

Oak Glen

So Saturday we decided to take a drive as a family and head up to Oak Glen. I have been wanting to go up there for a while now since it is apple season and I LOVE their apple cider!!!! Lizzie loved looking at the animals and playing in the leafs. If you have never visited Oak Glen you are sure missing out. It is a great day adventure and there is TONS of stuff to do. The highlight of our trip was having dinner at Apple Annie's... You only eat there if you are STARVING because they give you so much food!!! For $12.95 I got salad, soup, bread, spaghetti, my main meal of fried chicken, potatoes, and veggies, and a HUGE dessert! It was really good food too.

AOTW #3 FINGERPRINTS MUSEUM

Seriously... Thanks for the idea Chelsea these past 3 weeks have been so much fun!
Well this week we headed back into the heart of Hemet... I know you are probably thinking, Hemet has all of this cool stuff, and I only thought my grandma lived there. Well Hemet is pretty dang cool ! Well this week we went to Kid's Zone AKA Fingerprints Museum. This is one of the coolest kids museums I have been in. It is a kids paradise! There are tons of different stations you can go to for example: Stater's Bros-and shop in the grocery store and use a REAL checkout stand, a Doctor's office-learn about the body, play with doctor's instruments, Police Station-a kids jail,A tv station- kids can see them self on tv while they dress up, A dinosaur dig-dig up real bones, and REAL LIFE SIZE POLICE CARS, MOTORCYCLE, RTA BUS, AMBULANCE, and so much more!!!
Lizzie, Blake, and Nathan had the greatest time! They especially LOVE the Stater Bros Grocery Store. The kids loved shopping and putting different goods in their baskets. When we got there Nathan was checking out, and pretending to carry his groceries to the car. Lizzie loved the dino dig, and she especially loved to EAT the recycled tire rubber....SO GROSS!!!

Check back next week to see where our adventure takes us...

A Little late.. but I have been so busy!!!

So I have been waiting for this day ever since Lizzie was born, and last Sunday was the day... Lizzie's hair can do 2 ponies NOW!!!! I thought she looked adorable, but Lizzie does NOT like anything in her hair which drives me bonkers. She had the 2 ponies in her hair almost all the way through Sacrament Meeting... I was so impressed. Hopefully she will learn to love to have cute bows in her hair, because I can't wait!!! I made some SUPER cute ribbons for her hair today, but she needs a little bit more hair before I can use them.

HOT OFF THE PRESS!!!

So I have such great news!!! Katie told me Monday night that you can already buy your tickets to see Twilight. I was so excited!!! So today I bought my ticket for the midnight showing.. I can't wait... David doesn't think I will be able to stay awake.. since when the clock strikes midnight I'm usually far off in dream land, but for Twlight I will be so awake. I have been counting down the days for this movie forever!!! So go to FANDANGO already and buy your tickets!!! If you want to come with us we are going to hit up Denny's and have an early breakfast before the movie!!!

VOTING DAY!!!

Lizzie VOTED did you?

Thanks to the HADAD'S!!!

Well last night we headed over to the Hadad's for FHE. We had a great time with the Bodell, Johnson, and Hadad families. We had a lesson about things we are thankful for since Thanksgiving is coming up. Katie took a count and there were 12 kids and 8 adults so it was such a PARTY!!! Thanks again for the yummy ice cream and cake!
Oh, but the highlight of the night was when Lizzie kept grabbing Brody and kissing him. I wish I had gotten a picture. Brody wasn't too excited that Lizzie kept laying wet ones on him, but it was so cute!!

Love songs with Karen Sharp on the KOST

If you are a KOST listener you probably have hear Love songs on the Kost with Karen Sharp. She has the PERFECT voice for LOVE dedications. Well the past couple of nights I have been wanting to call in and do a LOVE dedication to David.. I know cheesy huh? Well Let me just tell you Karen is super cool. I got to chat with her for over 5 mins. Since the song I dedicated to David had ALREADY been played last night, she is going to play it TONIGHT at 10:25 PM with my dedication... SO turn on your radios, or go out to your car tonight to hear my dedication!!!
Have you ever done a dedication to anyone? This was my 1st! It was kinda fun.. to think that everyone who listens to the radio at that time of night will hear me on the radio.
