Mustache March

Each year for March Madness David and some of his coworkers grow out their facial hair and enjoy a month of mustaches. I am not a fan, but it is a tradition that I can not break. So for my birthday month David gets to taunt me with his most AMAZING mustache. Hooray for March!

My flowergirls

The girls wanted to be flower girls so I pulled out all the flower girl dresses from my wedding, and we had a wedding party. The girls loved being flower girls and walking down the hallway as the parents sang the wedding march. Then we had to get a wedding shot of the bride with her flower girls. All the memories.. it is so fun to have Lizzie wear one of the dresses. She loved prancing down the hallway and pretending to throw flower petals. Maybe we will make this a tradition.

Sweetheart Dance

Let me just tell you how much my husband loves me. I know you think your husband is the best, but let me just brag about mine for a second. My husband got to go to the Scout Jamboree down in San Diego a couple weekends ago. He had a VERY stressful week at work, but he pushed all that to the side, and packed up the car for a scouting weekend. It rained the entire weekend. He woke up in his tent soaked, he helped the scouts get different merit badges, and then drove home in the rain, and got home around 7:30 pm on Saturday. My good friend Ashley Patterson and her husband Randy came out from Ventura to come visit, and we all decided to go to the Sweetheart Dance. I told David I really wanted to go since everyone was going, and what did my husband do? He walked in the door gave us all kisses, hopped in the hot shower, got dressed, ate dinner, and we were out the door. David and I had a great time dancing the night away. I'm so grateful for a husband who was having a hard week at work, and then a cold and stormy weekend with the scouts would still take out his wife, and have a great night on the dance floor. I love you Honey!

From A LOT of baby weight to 153 pounds

October 2009

This picture was taken 3 months after Krislynn was born. I look back at this girl and realize how sad I was all the time. This isn't the best picture to show how big I was, but I can't find the one I wanted to use. At this time I was dropping weight from nursing, but I didn't start waking up and getting healthy till Jan. 2010.

Feb. 2011
This is the NEW me!!! I'm so happy to see the new me! I have lost over 70 pounds since I have had Krislynn. ( I have run multiple races, and now I can say I'm healthy!) I feel sexy and I know I'm a beautiful daughter of God. It hasn't been easy at all, but each time I want to give up and quit I think about that little family at my first race, and them cheering me on. I do this for myself of course, but I do this for my husband and children. Thank you David for always believing in me, and never letting me give up. You are my hero, and I love you so much!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

For Dr. Seuss's birthday we read "The Foot Book". The girls LOVE this book, and they loved getting their feet painted. We just copied the last couple of lines from the story, and then painted the girls feet, and now I will always have something to remind me how super cute their little feet are!
Enjoy!

Larysa Yevtushuk

Today was a solemn day. My AMAZING neighbor returned to Heaven. She has taught me more in the past couple months than I have learned in my whole life. She has been an inspiration to me, and she will always have a special place in my heart. I love her and her family, and I'm so grateful for amazing neighbors that have joined together in helping her family during this hard trial. We will still be having the benefit in her honor on March 19, 2011 @ Brookside Park in Redlands, Ca. Please come support Larysa's family, they need the extra love and support right now. http://www.runningintheusa.com/Race/View.aspx?RaceID=34661
I love you Larysa! You will truly be missed!
