President Hinckley died at the age of 97 surrounded by his family. I love this man! He was such an inspiration to the church and to the world. I will always have a special place for him in my heart. He did so much good, and we can learn so much from this amazing man. We love you President Hinckley! He must be so excited to be reunited with his loving wife.Sunday, January 27, 2008

Torah Bright

Torah Bright hit the super pipe at the X games last night in Aspen, CO. She won the silver, and she is MORMON. She did an amazing job last night. She is hoping to win the Gold at the next Winter Olympics. The LA times asked her how she could be a snowboarder and be Mormon. Her reply was priceless, "It's easy! I'm the sober one. I love to dance and I'm usually the last one standing on the dance floor." We are new Torah fans and can't wait to see her at the next Olympics! GO TORAH!

Lizzie babbles...
Lizzie loves to lay on the floor and just babble away. She is such a talker...hopefully she doesn't get in trouble for it when she is older... her mom still is such a talker :) Too bad cause it is so cute!

Update on Grandpa Evans
Grandpa had a mini stroke. He was rushed to the emergency room where he had a cat scan and chest x-ray. It wasn't looking so good, but the doctor discharged him and sent him home. Please keep him in your prayers. Also, Lizzie's blessing has been postponed till Jan. 20 @ 11:30

Grandpa Evans Did It!!!!
Just an FYI for the family... Grandpa Evans surgery was a success. The doctor said the surgery went well and that his interior and common arteries are looking good . Since this is his 5th surgery on them, the doctor seemed a little septical due to his age and the amounts of surgeries in the past, but all went well and he is in recovery. I went and saw him tonight and he looks well just a little sore, but he was still able to crack jokes... WHAT A GUY!!!
