A visit to the Jolley Ranch

Last night we were able to go visit the Jolley family and show off Lizzie. We had a great time visiting with them. While we were there we taught Jay and Devyn a couple important pointers since their little one will be on its way in a couple months. Jay and Devyn practiced changing Lizzie's diaper, feeding her, burping, and how to hold and calm down crying babies.. they did such a great job... David and I give them 2 thumbs up! A couple more visits with Lizzie and they will be PROS!
Look at Devyn's belly... She is due on March 22nd.. maybe she will come a day early and be born on my birthday.. how fun would that be?
Wow!!! They are going to be great parents!

I guess he just loves Lizzie so much he would step up and do it. Maybe he has turned over a new leaf? We will keep you updated on his progress... maybe he will change her diaper next... or is that asking too much?

Being sick is no fun!!!

Being a mom that just gave birth and having complications breast feeding... I did not think life could get any worst.. Oh was I wrong... On Saturday, I started to get the cold my husband had... and let's just say being sick and trying to take care of a newborn REALLY wears you out. Nicole was right when she said being sick and motherhood is really hard. I just wish I could hire a sub... Hopefully this cold will pass soon so I can feel better.

Parker loves to hold Lizzie he is such a great cousin... (This is one of my favorite pictures... He kept giving her kisses and snuggling her tight!)

Lizzie visits with Santa

Lizzie had a great time visiting Santa. He told her that she was on the good list, and to be expecting something from him underneath the Christmas tree. Lizzie wanted to leave Santa with a special present too, so after a couple loud toots here and there she left Santa with a special surprise that he would always remember.

Presenting... LIzzie Valet Parker

Daddy and his little girl Lizzie

This post goes out to my husband. He is the most amazing husband a girl could ever ask for. He stood by me though little contractions and HUGE contractions, and is always there to help me out. I love you so much David. Lizzie and I are so bless to have such a great husband and dad. You make each and everyday a blessing... thank you for everything! The nurses at the hospital were so proud of him, and wished every father/husband would be as dedicated as he was.

BABY LIZZIE VALET IS HERE!!!

Tuesday Nov. 27th we went to our last appointment with Dr. Basu. She said I needed to be induced since I was producing too much protein in my urine, and that it was too hard on the baby. We went to Labor and Delivery and they only had 1 bed left so they sent us to L&D observation where I would be able to start the whole process of being induced. By 4pm I was able to get out of bed and start walking around the hospital. We starting to feel the contractions at 5pm. By 6 pm we were up and walking again trying to get the contractions to become more intense . We were admitted at 7pm to Labor and Delivery and then the fun began. The cheerleaders and coaches arrived and we started the Lizzie arrival party. By 2am we were dilated to a 5, but she wasn't processing down the birth canal, by 8 am she was still not making any more progress so they broke my water and was hoping their was not going to be any complications. 9am rolled around she still was not making much progress and I was put on oxygen since her heartbeat was dropping a little. I was so nervous that I was going to need a C-section so I had David give her a pep-talk and by 10 am we were dilated to a 7 and during contractions we were dilated to an 8 to 9. They had us wait to push and have her slide down the birth canal a little more and by noon we were ready to push. After 18 pushed Lizzie made her from heaven to Riverside,CA. She was born at 12:39 in the afternoon weighing 8 lbs. 6 ounces and 21 inches long. She has brought so much happiness to our family. We hope you all will meet our little girl soon. Thanks for all the support.... Here are some pictures of our little girl.

The house we are going to put a bid on...

So David and I have been looking at buying a house. We have been searching different areas and we found this house that we love. It was built in 2000, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, and an amazing price... We will keep you updated on our find.

Our Trip to Oceanside

For our wedding we were given a week stay down in Oceanside for our 1 year anniversary. Well we finally used it and had a great time. We stayed at the Blue Whale Resort down on North Strand right on the beach. The weather was beautiful and the waves were amazing...
These are our footprints as we walked down the beach. The water was quite chilly, but we had a great time exploring the beach for flat rocks that David could use to skip on the water...
If you look in the distance you can see the pier and Ruby's. On Friday, David and I walked down to the pier and had dinner. We could not have asked for better weather while we were there. I like to pose with the whale what can I say???
David and I walked down to the Jetty. This is where David asked me to marry him... I know he is the cutest :)
This picture was taken from the exact spot of where we got engaged. Time sure flies by fast.. I can't believe we have been married over a year now... The time we spent together in Oceanside was a dream come true.. Thanks Kathy for the condo
