Who wants my girls?

For the past week my girls have graciously decorated my carpet and furniture with random foods. Last week I bought David Fruity Pebbles and Coco Pebbles since he was starting a new class and he loves them. My darling daughters thought they should be used as confetti and traced it throughout my house. Each day they would find the boxes and let the ritual rain to flow. Finally the boxes were gone since they had so many pebble dances, and I thought the messes would end. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! After the pebbles were gone it went to Kix cereal, then Krislynn thought it would be enjoyable to take off her diaper and pee throughout our room, and when she would finish she would grab a towel and sit on it butt naked. Thank you for sitting on the towel Krislynn, but next time let's keep your diaper on please :) Then today Krislynn came into our office, and brought me her new adventure. Let me give you a couple hints of what it could be. It is white, found on the cooking isle, and it it powder. Did you guess powdered sugar? Yes, powder sugar was dumped everywhere from the kitchen to the family room, to the couches, then underneath the coffee table, then a huge pile on a side table, and then a perfect line down the hallway to the office.
So who would like my kids? They are super cute, and very mischievous :) What am I going to do to make them stop? I'm going out of my mind over here! Help me please!
Today's update adventure: Krislynn decided to get down the vitamins, and eat chewable Vitamin C tablets.

Going to the beach

One of our favorite things to do is go to the beach. The sand in our toes, and the sounds of the waves crashing just makes a perfect day. The girls especially love to dig in the sand and make sand castle after sand castle.

Grammie and Papa

The girls love having their Grammie and Papa come to visit, especially if Grammie colors with them and brings cookies and juice. Every time I tell the girls Grammie is coming to visit they ask what kind of juice and cookies she is bringing. Grammie always brings the best treats, and the girls can't wait to see what they get each time she walks in.

My little pirate

Krislynn's cousins had a joint pirate party, and ever since the party it is all about pirates. Pirates this and pirates that! The girls loves to get dressed up as pirates and go on adventures. They especially love Peter Pan, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates right now. They get out their treasure chest and fill it with gold doubloons and the fun never ends.

The Letter Worm

The other day I came up with this great game for Lizzie. I made a long strip, and wrote all the uppercase letters on it, and then I got clothes pins and wrote all the lowercase letters on each clothes pin. I mixed all the clothes pins up, and Lizzie picks a clothes pin, and has to pin it on the correct uppercase letter. This simple exercise works with matching uppercase and lowercase letters, and small motor skills. You could also have the child say the sound the letter makes when they pin it on. Enjoy!!!

Lizzie's new thing

This year I wanted to put Lizzie into Preschool, but out here it is hard to find a "good" preschool for a reasonable price. So I scratched that idea, and have just been implementing different strategies with her. So I decided to see what else was available for my little Lizzie to do, and look what I found!!!! Lizzie LOVES gymnastics! She loves to tumble, jump, and run. She loves working with her teachers, and is excited each week to go to class. Each Tuesday I remind her we have gym class, and then she asks every give seconds, "Is it time to go yet?" Krislynn wanted to join in on the fun too, and was upset that she didn't get to do all the fun things Lizzie got to do.

Here Batter... Batter

David and I love going to Angel's Games. Here is a picture of one of the many games we have been to this season. Hooray for Big Bang Fridays and the Daniels!

The bandaid

The other day Lizzie cut her back and wanted a bandaid. I told her to go into my bathroom and there was one on the counter. This is what she came back with! LOVE IT!

The T-shirt dresses that I have been dying to make

So here is Lizzie's. I found out that I didn't have enough fabric for the yoke(the tie part on Krislynn's) but I still love it.

I wanted something to spice it up so I added a flower and some ribbon

This is Krislynn's. Lizzie was the model today since this is what Krislynn has been doing ALL DAY!

Not wanting to play with Mommy and being a model. I'm glad they are done, now on to something new...

Super Funny Superhero Daddy Story

Okay.. this post is kinda random, and David will probably think I'm silly for posting this, but I want to remember this Father's Day. The girls and I went to Walmart to pick up some things, and we were passing through the Men's clothing section. (Lizzie is obsessed with boy underwear, and she would prefer to wear since it has cooler pictures on them) Well she spotted Men's Superman undies. She hopped out of the cart and ran to them, and wouldn't put them down. She wanted to get them for David so badly. Well I tried everything for her to put them down, but she wouldn't. So I put her in the cart and told her she could hold them. She was the happiest little girl showing anyone and everyone this pair of underwear, and explaining to everyone how she was going to get them for her dad for Father's Day. I quickly finished my shopping and headed back to the underwear section to see how much they were since Lizzie had her heart set on them for David. They were $8.00 for ONE PAIR!!!! There was no way I was going to spend that much money on one pair of underwear. I tired everything to get Lizzie to put them down. I looked for a cheaper pair, but NOTHING was working.
Then my light bulb went off! My Ah-Ha moment as Oprah calls it. Freezer paper stencils and then David could have multiple pairs of SUPER HERO undies. I explained my idea to Lizzie and told her she could help make lots of SUPER HERO undies for Daddy. She was super excited, and she finally put the Super undies down. I walked out of Wal-mart with 5 pairs of undies for $9.00.. Way better deal!!! So the freezer paper stencils started, and here we are with the SUPER HERO DADDY PACK "For all your crime fighting needs!"
Lizzie and I finished the undies a week or so before Father's Day, and Lizzie was super excited about giving them to David. She kept telling me Daddy needed more Batman undies, but I explained he needed different kinds for all his crime fighting needs. Father's Day was FINALLY here and Lizzie was so excited to give David her gift. David loved them, what dad wouldn't RIGHT? Hooray for crazy ideas put to good use!
