These boots were made for walking...

I found these boots at a consignment sale in Riverside, and Lizzie loves them. Parker wears his cowboy boots everywhere, and Lizzie wants to be just like Parker! She even tries to wear them to bed.

and of course a cute picture of Krislynn doing what she does best... crawl! She loves to pull herself up and hold on... she has had some major wipe outs!

This one goes to you Holly Rafidi

MUTE THE MUSIC ON MY BLOG!!!! YOU HAVE TO HEAR LIZZIE!!!

My daughter LOVES Dora... I think they whoever created Dora saw in the future what Lizzie would look like, and then made a clone of her. We had a Dora Birthday Party for Lizzie, and Holly was nice enough to let us borrow all her decorations (I still need to get those back to you) Well Lizzie loved every second of her party... Well Holly's daughter had this amazing Dora house, swimming pool, mini van, and all the accessories for it, and gave it to Lizzie for her Birthday. Well I kept it till Christmas and that was her BIG Christmas Gift. If you can't tell by the video Lizzie LOVES IT!!! Holly I owe you big... you made Lizzie's year!!! I just love Lizzie's dance every time the Mini-van comes out this is exactly what she does... Classic Lizzie!

The Girls

I thought you needed some updated pictures of us girls... We are doing great as ever. Krislynn gave us quite a scare on Saturday with 2 seizures. Thanks to everyone who has keep us in their thoughts and prayers and have brought meals in. We have the GREATEST family and friends anyone could ask for! Krislynn is doing fine... We are just keeping a close eye on her.

Cute Gifts-Kitchen Towel & Soap

Before Christmas I was doing what I do best... blog surf and I came across this super cute and inexpensive idea for gifts from Homemade by Jill... let's not get me started on my sewing machine, and how it happened to break right before Christmas, and how all my sewing projects got thrown out the window. Well thanks to a great friend named Charlotte who let me borrow her machine. My projects are starting to come to life. If you want the tutorial check out my link!

Mutual Theme 2010 Blocks

For New Beginnings this year. We wanted to make something for the girls to be able to take home, and help them focus on the theme for the year. I think they turned out pretty cute! Thanks Angie and Andrea for saving the day and helping me finish ALL the blocks. You are the greatest!!!

Nativity 2009

I know you have been waiting each day for me to post this... Sorry!!! I realized after I finished it I put it away in my Christmas box with all my other decorations. I first saw this on SugarDoodle, and feel in love, but I knew David didn't have the right tools to make it for me. Well I went back a couple weeks later, and the lady who posted it on Sugar Doodle said she would cut and ship the wood to you for dirt cheap. So here is another fun projects I have been busily doing to keep myself sane...

My Nativity

The other day I was surfing the many blogs I follow and I found the cutest nativity. So that night I searched the Internet for HOURS upon HOURS looking for the super cute stickers they used. To my luck they had been discontinued, so I searched to see if anyone was selling a pack or two of them. NO LUCK!!! So then the next couple of days I tried to see what kind of nativity stickers were out there.. and let me tell you.. they are hard to find (if you are looking for the whole scene) I started to get frustrated and Andrea and I drove all over town looking down sticker isle after sticker isle to find NOTHING! Then I started looking for clip art that would be cute to use, and I found a couple I liked, but the creators were charging up the ying yang for it so my search continued.. and then to my dismay I stumbled upon what your eyes are looking at.. and I fell in love... I rushed to Home Depot got the wood, David cut it for Andrea and me, and the painted began... then Modge Podge to the rescue and TA DA!!! my personalized Nativity. Thank you very much!!! But there is more.. stay tuned for the other Nativity I am working on... you are going to love it!

Last Night of Christmas Fun #11-The Nativity

Tonight was our last night of Christmas Fun. It has been a great month of fun activities, and the kids have had a great time getting ready for Christmas, and enjoying the Christmas Season. We have made: countdowns, a gingerbread baby, visited Santa, played Christmas bingo, Christmas FHE, built gingerbread houses, made Christmas cookies and sang songs, and tonight we ended with the Story of Jesus. The kids were so gitty to dress up and act out the different parts. I think Lizzie made the prettiest little Angel. We hope your month was as great as ours...

Malea (Mary) and Lizzie (Angel)

Steve (one of the wise men)

Lizzie (Angel) and Alex (Joseph)
Andrew(The shepherd) and Andrea (Wise men)

The whole cast

Now if you know me I can't end a function without dessert right? Well I was blog surfing Bakerella again and I found these yummy treats. If I have made you Oreo Truffle it is kinda comparable to that. They are called Cake Balls, and they are so yummy. The recipe calls for red velvet cake, but Andrea and I used Funfetti with Chocolate Almond Bark and holiday sprinkles. These balls are a must!!! You will love them!

We froze the balls to make them easier to work with

Let the decorating begin...

So this Holiday Season I have been seeing the Kay commerical with the love embrace necklace and telling DAvid everytime I see it that is what I want for Christmas.. he would always tell me, "You are not getting diamonds sorry! not in the budget this year sorry honey" After the billionth time of asking and getting shot down I gave up.. well on Christmas morning this is what I got...

the necklace I wanted!! Thanks Honey for the greatest gift of all!

Krislynn and Daddy opening gifts

This year I made all of David's gifts. He was so excited about all of them, maybe I should make his gifts every year? ( Creative Dates for the year, photo puzzle cube, photo tie)

Projects for christmas

So my friend Amy told me about Poppy Seed Projects, and I had to check it out since I have found my craftiness again. Here are some of the homemade gifts that I made this year. My mom loved her magnetic board, and the girls love their temple blocks. I just love being crafty!!! My friend Angie nicknamed me "Craft Goddess" too funny!!!

Miss Independent's in our house

The other day Lizzie wanted some cereal to snack on so I got her a little bowl and put some in it, and got her something to drink, and of course Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.. and off to the shower I went. Well after I got out I checked on her, and she was nicely sitting on the couch watching her show. So I went back in my room to blow dry my hair. After I was down I went into the living room and found this....

Remember this was a full before she decided to help herself to the cereal and dump it EVERYWHERE! The rest of the box was smashed into my carpet. Thanks Lizzie for being independent!

Krislynn on the other hand loves to put EVERTHING in her mouth. She loves playing with her BIG sister and can't wait to get big enough to keep up with her. She loves all of Lizzie's toys.. she eyes one she wants and then she pounces!!!

Gingerbread/graham cracker Houses-Christmas Fun #8

A couple friends got together to make gingerbread/graham cracker houses. The kids had a great time decorating the houses with lots of yummy candy, but I think their favorite part was just eating tons of candy and getting a massive SUGAR rush! but my favorite part was Jenny's 7 layer dip she brought to share!!!
